Adi Kailash, adorably also referred as Chotta Kailash, is a massive and beautiful mountain in the Kumaon Himalayas of Uttarakhand along the Indo Tibet border of Dharchula and stands at an impressive altitude of 5945 meters (19505 feet).

According to Hindu mythology Deevonke dev Mahadev resides here along with Mata Parvati, Ganesh ji & Kartikeya ji and a divine sight of Adi Kailash can enlighten a devotee. It is believed that the cosmic energy that is prevalent here can transform a person into all positivity. Close by is the sacred lake Parvati sarovar and Gouri Kund from where you can have best views of Adi Kailash. While Adi Kailash and Parvati sarovar hold equal importance of Kailash Manasarovar, a parikrama around Parvati sarovar is supposed to get rid of all sins and fulfil your dreams.

Om Parvat (5570 meters) is yet another mystical mountain near Nabidhang which is on the way to Kailash Manasoravar (Indo-Tibet border post). Om Parvat got its name because the melting snow on the mountain resembles the holy symbol in Hinduism ‘Om’.
